The morning started off with a bus journey out to our second opponent's oval.
Brisbane State High were tough opposition and both sides suffered heavy defeats yesterday. The matches were played in good spirits and although some were initially daunted by the size of one or two of the opposition they quickly overcame this and matched their opposition in skill and technique. Inevitably both teams were overwhelmed by the athleticism of the opposition. Playing on a full sized pitch allowed our opponents to use their pace to get around us and it was in this fashion that they scored the majority of their points.
We were very proud of their determination, sometimes a defeat can bring the boys closer together, this is what touring is all about and they are raring to go for the next match tomorrow.
Special mention goes to Jack Clark for the way he coped with his injury, he is all smiles today and looking forward to the boys carrying his bags.
In the evening we managed to get the Super 15 final on a big screen in the hostel, as well as a bit of house work.
We are currently on the road to the Gold Coast and will be spending most of the day at a water park.

Good luck with your next match boys hope you get better Jack and that your thumb is better too Tommy. As for my son Sam ,Sammy J,Sam Jam or even Samuel John Matthews if he is naughty .Have you lost your phone ???? I have been texting and calling you since friday but heard nothing .. I take it that could mean a couple of things 1) you have lost your phone 2) you have broken your phone 3) its not cool to speak too parents 4) your too busy to speak to me or 5)You miss me so so much that when you see MUM light up on your phone it is too upsetting to hear my voice or read my texts . I will go along with 5 xxxxx Joking aside please can you ask Sam where his phone is and lets us know .Thanks a million xxx
